The management behind the vision
Alexander Haußmann, Chief Executive Officer (CEO) and Founder
Alex (left) is the managing director and one of the founders of Straiv. He sets the strategic direction, takes on important tasks in business development and thus drives the international growth of the company. Alex knows the hotel industry inside out and ensures that our technology solves the real challenges facing the industry. In his spare time, he can usually be found at the stadium, passionately cheering on VfB Stuttgart.
Robin König, Chief Operating Officer (COO)
Robin (right) is COO of Straiv. He coordinates strategic implementation and ensures a well-functioning organisation with powerful teams and efficient processes. Robin drives professionalisation at Straiv and ensures that the company is well positioned for further future growth. Robin lives with his family in Stuttgart – but also enjoys travelling with them to discover new cities and cultures.
Our history – From pioneering spirit to market leader
Straiv was founded in Stuttgart in 2015 by Alexander Haußmann, Patrick Luik and Fabian Hieber (from left to right). What began as CODE2ORDER and a vision for the catering industry quickly developed into the technological heart of the hotel industry. The 2022 rebranding to Straiv (a combination of ‘strive’ and the airport code STR for Stuttgart) underlines our claim: continuous pursuit of perfection in the automation of hotel operations. Today, we are a leading SaaS company that is making a lasting impact on the industry through AI and deep system integrations.
