ZÄHLWERK's serviced apartments in Pfaffenhofen offer guests apartments and community spaces designed to meet the needs of the modern traveler. Together with our partners apaleo and SAG, the guest journey is mapped digitally throughout, including digital PIN door opening. We asked Christoph Habermann, Operations Manager - Zählwerk Apartments, how the solutions are used:


How do the solutions from straiv by CODE2ORDER support you? What is the greatest benefit? 


Our goal is to provide our hotel guests with a digital companion that can be used to provide all the desired information and services for the entire guest journey (before, during and after the stay). This of course includes the possibility of mobile door opening, as well as an online check-in.

Do the solutions from straiv by CODE2ORDER help you in the current situation with the hygiene requirements? Are you able to reduce contacts through digital solutions? 


The biggest benefit of the solution in the current situation is that contacts can be reduced to a minimum without losing service. At Zählwerk Apartments, every guest can check in on their smartphone, receive a pin code for their apartment and can easily check themselves out on the day of departure. The invoice is of course sent automatically by e-mail.


How does straiv by CODE2ORDER in combination with the PMS apaleo and the locking system provider SAG make your internal work processes easier?


We have reduced our staff deployment at the reception to a minimum, which is only possible with the help of digital solutions that are well coordinated with each other. Process automation is our focus in order to relieve our staff in the long term and to make our guests' stay easier.

Door opening with SAG Smart Access & straiv by CODE2ORDER works via PIN, which hotel guests can access after check-in. The door opening PIN is sent to the guests' smartphone via straiv by CODE2ORDER. The complete check-in process including digital PIN door opening can be done via the digital companion for hotel guests (guest app) from straiv by CODE2ORDER using their own smartphone. Completely without app download or login. All information needed for check-in and check-out is automatically transferred to the property management system apaleo.
