straiv reaches milestone of 3,000 customers

We have reason to celebrate: straiv has reached another milestone in the company’s history. We now count more than 3,000 branded, independent and chain hotels in 29 countries as our customers.

Digital guest journey for the hotel industry

Our co-founder and Managing Director Alexander Haussmann comments on the success:

“Our mission from the beginning was to create a better and seamless experience for the guest along the entire guest journey. At the same time, we support hotels in optimizing their processes, improving staff deployment and building better communication and loyalty with their guests. This milestone confirms us in our strategy and shows that our solutions are appreciated both nationally and internationally”.

Since straiv was founded in 2015, we have continuously invested in the development of technical innovations around our advanced digital guest journey solution. And all of this without any outside investor funding. Check-in kiosks have recently been added to our portfolio in the area of digital check-in and check-out. Over the years, other sub-solutions along the digital guest journey have been added, such as digital door opening or guest journey messaging.

A strong team

The team has grown continuously along with the products and the customer base. In addition, there is a constantly growing partner network with the most important players in the industry.

First and foremost, our team is an important cornerstone of our success, as Alexander Haussmann points out: “I am very proud of what we have achieved with our great team in recent years. We have grown incredibly fast but healthy and have won several innovation awards. We work with many of the best and most innovative hotels and hotel chains in Europe. We have also built a great partner network with many long-standing partners and key players in the industry. Despite the growth, we have kept the team spirit and the fun at work.”

Long-standing partnerships

But not everything is new: we have had the pleasure of working with many of our customers for a number of years. This was also the case with the “Hotel am Schillerpark” in Esslingen am Neckar, our very first hotel customer. This marked the start of a whole new chapter for straiv, then still known as Code2Order, around 8 years ago.

For this reason, we have named one of our meeting rooms “Schillerpark” after this very hotel. The meeting room was officially inaugurated last week with a lavish brunch. We even had Daniel Lorenz, Managing Director of the “Hotel am Schillerpark”, visiting us for this occasion.

On the way to becoming the European market leader

But the growth is not to stop there. “We have clear goals for Europe-wide expansion and also want to become the European market leader,” adds Patrick Luik. “We are looking forward to the road ahead and to working with our partners to support even more hotels with digitalization and drive it forward.”
