Our process is designed to help both sides get to know each other. Authenticity is particularly important to us - everyone should be able to openly show themselves as they are. We also believe that motivation counts more than a straightforward resume.
Development
Initial conversation
Here we check if our expectations fit to each other.
Coding task
Fabi or Vasileios send you a coding task and you have a few days to complete it. We want to find out how you approach tasks - not a stress test.
Personal meeting
You will meet with Fabi or Vasileios and our People & Culture team. We get to know each other, talk about your development experience and give you all the information about the role.
Final meeting
The main part is done - at the end you get to know Robin, our COO, in an informal setting. Depending on the position, also one of our Product Owners will join the meeting.
Other areas
Interview with People & Culture and area of specialty
We get to know each other personally and you get all the information you need about us and the position.
Optional: Special task
Depending on the position, you will be given a small task related to your future daily work.
Final meeting
The main part is done - at the end you will get to know Alex, our CRO, or Robin, our COO, in an informal setting.

Questions about your application at straiv
The easiest way is to apply directly via our application form. However, you are also welcome to send us an e-mail with your CV, your earliest possible starting date and your salary expectations to jobs@straiv.io.
As long as the positions are advertised on our website, they are still open.
Usually, you will receive an initial response within 48 hours (on weekdays). Depending on the position you have applied for, you will then have a preliminary interview with our People & Culture team (Development) or a direct meeting with the department and People & Culture (all other positions). Afterwards, you may be given a small task and finally get to know one of our two managing directors in an informal setting.
Of course, we do everything we can to complete the process as quickly as possible. In most cases we manage to have the contract on the table within 3 weeks after the application. In Development we need about 4 weeks due to the coding task.
Sure, we are always happy to receive exciting applications!Simply apply using the “Unsolicited application” form and let us know which area you can imagine working in. If you are basically a good fit for us, but there is no suitable position at the moment, we will be happy to add you to our talent pool and contact you again as soon as there is something suitable.
If conditions allow, we will be happy to invite you to our office in Stuttgart. We believe that this helps both sides to get a better impression of each other. However, we’ll do what we can to accommodate you – if you have a long way to travel, we’ll also make it possible for you to get to know us online.

We firmly believe that the office will remain an important place of exchange and creativity in the future. That’s why we’re looking for colleagues who enjoy face-to-face encounters. Only remote is therefore currently not an option for us.
