2023 – a very successful and eventful year for straiv is coming to an end. In the straiv annual review, we take a look back at the past months and provide an insight into numerous facts, figures and data, some of which have never been published before.

1,000,000+ check-in & check-out experiences: The future of the hotel industry is digital and we are proud that our solution is helping to drive this change. With more than 1,000,000 digital check-ins & check-outs made via our solution this year, we have not only provided a seamless experience for guests, but also enabled more efficient processes for our customers.

1,135,000+ digital errands: Our solution connects – with an average of more than 1,100,000 e-mails and over 35,000 text messages sent per month, we have not only transmitted information, but also strengthened relationships. Each message was not only a piece of information, but also a step towards intensifying the interaction between hotels and guests.

93,000+ “Open Sesame”: Our solution not only opens doors, it creates experiences. With an average of over 93,000 door openings and over 19,000 encoded room cards per month, we have not only brought security and efficiency to the hotel industry this year, but also convenience. One of our building blocks for a seamless and outstanding guest experience.

Integrations & product development

10 special formations: This year, we realized ten new integrations with leading technology partners. These include Opera Cloud, Mews, Dormakaba, Assa Abloy Vostio, Salto KS and Datatrans (planet). These partnerships not only expand the functionality and compatibility of our software, but also ensure an even better customer experience.

59 reasons to celebrate: This year we added 59 new features and optimizations to our software. These upgrades are the direct result of customer feedback and have further improved the functionality, efficiency, performance, security, and usability of our solution. Each new feature represents our commitment to continuous improvement and adapting to the needs of our users.

11 product highlights: 11 of these new features were of particular significance and importance to us and were also declared as highlights in our updates. 3 new features are especially worth highlighting this year:

    • Redesign of the check-in and check-out process
    • The new “Messaging Hub”
    • The new “Data and Analytics”

1 time straiv at your fingertips: This year, for the first time, straiv’s product portfolio has been expanded to include hardware. In combination with our software, the self-service kiosks from KIOSK Embedded Systems are the perfect addition to our digital guest journey and a modern guest experience.

3.000+ Success stories: As of this year, we can count more than 3,000 branded, independent and chain hotels among our customers. This year marks an important milestone in our strategy and company history. 3,000 customers – that’s over 3,000 stories of trust and shared success!

98.89% enthusiastic “thumbs up”: As we continue to grow, we are not only focused on our product, but also on the satisfaction of our existing and new customers. 98.89% satisfaction with our support – that’s not just a number, it’s a promise. Our Customer Success team has given and continues to give their all every day. Compared to the previous year (98.02%), we were able to improve once again.

Breaking borders: straiv international

29 Passport stamps: Our software made in Germany is becoming more and more international. Our customers are now based in 29 countries around the world. As a result, we have become an even more international company with our sights firmly set on European market leadership. From vibrant cities to idyllic resorts, we are proud to be part of the hotel industry in so many countries. This global presence reflects not only our growth, but also the diversity and reach of our solutions.

11 colorful nationalities: It’s not just our customers who are becoming increasingly international. Our team is also growing steadily and this year we were once again able to welcome many new straivers from all over the world. Our team now consists of colleagues from over 11 nations.

Creating networks: partnerships & events

8 enriching partnerships: This year, we not only acquired new customers and employees, but also entered into eight exciting new sales partnerships. These not only expand our network, but also open up new opportunities for innovation and joint growth. Together, we want to continue our success story in the coming years.

19 19 major events: At 19 trade fairs and events, we not only built and maintained networks, made new contacts, inspired potential customers and laughed and celebrated together, but also shared inspiration and innovation. In addition to these major events, we also participated in numerous smaller events and online formats, and organized internal team events.
