straiv by CODE2ORDER in the test – TREUGAST and the AHGZ test the Guest Journey at Schlafwerk Stuttgart

A test team from TREUGAST Unternehmensberatungsgesellschaft mbH and ahgz tested the processes from booking to check-out at Schlafwerk Stuttgart. The result: 100/100% for the Guest Journey and digital check-in and check-out with straiv by CODE2ORDER.

In the TREUGAST Mystery Check, the independent
hospitality consulting company TREUGAST
and the
Allgemeine Hotel- und Gastronomie-Zeitung (AHGZ)
take a close look at one hotel every month. The test is based on the criteria of research & booking, arrival, check-in, building and design, room amenities, food & beverages, additional services and check-out.

This month the house
Schlafwerk Stuttgart
put through its paces. The DQuadrat Living GmbH property is one of the first fully digitized hotels in Germany, welcoming guests since January 2021. These are mainly tradesmen and fitters and long-stay guests with limited budgets. The 97 rooms and apartments are modern and functionally furnished and adapted exactly to the target group.

of AHGZ & Treugast (2022) describes the guest journey from booking to check-out. Digital accompaniment via progressive web app and email communication was particularly highlighted. With the content clearly displayed there, the testers were able to view the address and route planner via the “Business card” menu item and thus plan their journey directly. During the journey by train, for which the team finally decided, the room could be paid and the registration form could be filled out via smartphone. In addition, the vaccination or convalescence certificate was requested and with a signature and a click on the smartphone could then be checked in directly. In addition, the Progressive Web App provided access to the digital key.

The check-out on the smartphone also convinced the test team. With just one click on the smartphone, the check-out is done and the electronic invoice is sent by e-mail. A few days after the stay, the team receives another email with a request to submit an online evaluation.
