Lockdown 2.0 in the hotel industry – We make you fit for the future

The second lockdown has caught us all by surprise. But in every crisis there is an opportunity! That has always been our motto. Now we all have to get back to work and make ourselves fit for the future in the hotel industry.

With the announcement of the renewed one-month closure for our hotel industry, we were also caught off guard. Despite excellent hygiene concepts, which we ourselves have been able to support very well in recent months with our digital solutions (contactless Registration Form, contactless Guest Directory), our industry will be closed for 4 weeks.

We can very well understand the worries about the future and the displeasure about the entrepreneurial restrictions.

But what else remains for us except to look ahead?

The positive thing is, people crave travel – vacation at domestic and abroad. Also the personal visit to business partners will be in preference to the Zoom meeting once again in the near future! What we want to say specifically: we all move in an industry, which is also needed in the future, but in the short term, unfortunately, must first go through a deep valley!

So now the time can be used to prepare for the future. Because the topics of hygiene and non-contact options will not remain a temporary phase, but will create added value in the long term. Hotels can prepare themselves now to offer these added values in the long term. Processes can now be put to the test with the question of whether they can also be made more cost-efficient (digitally).
