The collaboration of hotel tech company straiv by CODE2ORDER and locking system provider ASSA ABLOY Global Solutions, enables a completely automated Check-in process including Digital Keys for hotel guests.
Hotel check-in can be done directly via your own mobile device prior to arrival or via a Check-in kiosk at the front desk upon arrival. At the kiosk, guests activate the room card (Key Card Coding) or open the room doors directly via slide in the Web App from straiv by CODE2ORDER.
By integrating all systems, work steps for hotel staff are minimized and manual intervention in the check-in process is no longer necessary. Congestion and queues in the lobby are thus avoided and contacts reduced. The solution by straiv by CODE2ORDER is based on a Progressive Web App. Guests do not need to download an additional app application – the solution is accessed via a link in the booking confirmation. Guests benefit from a digital guest journey and are accompanied from booking to check-out via their own smartphone / device.
