Hotel of the month: Romantik Hotel Alte Posthalterei

Our hotel of the month in January is the newly renovated 4 star hotel & restaurant “Alte Posthalterei”. The hotel is located in the middle of the “Westliche Wälder” nature park near Augsburg and, in addition to a mix of modern rooms and traditional accents, offers some digital solutions that make everyday hotel life easier for guests and hotel staff.

This is how the online check-in at Hotel Alte Posthalterei works in everyday life

The hotel uses the solutions of straiv by CODE2ORDER for a digital check-in and -out with which the registration forms are digitized and additionally the COVID-19 vaccination certificates as well as the test certificates are queried. In addition, hotel guests can also transact payments online at check-in, if this has not already been done. The interface to the property management system Guestline enables the automation of the process. All data entered by guests via smartphone before arrival – ends up straight in the PMS. The registration form can also be retrieved digitally at any time.

How are hotel guests made aware about the online check-in service?

This also happens automatically at the Hotel Alte Posthalterei. Thanks to the Journey Messaging solution, various emails can be sent automatically to hotel guests. When a booking is received in the PMS of our partner Guestline, an email is automatically sent. This email can be customized. Hotel guests will then find all important information about their stay and a link to online check-in in the mail.
