Door opening with SAG Smart Access & straiv by CODE2ORDER works via a PIN that hotel guests can access after check-in. The door opening PIN is sent to the guests’ smartphone via straiv by CODE2ORDER. This unique solution features an intelligent PIN code that can be assigned as a temporary guest code for the precise period of arrival or stay. The complete check-in process, including Digital PIN Door Opening, can be handled via the digital companion for hotel guests (Progressive Web App*) from straiv by CODE2ORDER using your own smartphone. No app download or login required. At the same time, SAG’s Smart Access solutions enable demand-driven intelligent building management. This includes, among other things, individual room control of temperature and lighting scenarios according to the needs of the guest.
The digital solutions in use at ZÄHLWERK Apartments in Pfaffenhofen
At Zählwerk Hotel & Serviced Apartments in Pfaffenhofen, the solutions from straiv by CODE2ORDER and SAG have been in use since November last year for contactless Check-in on the user’s own smartphone, including PIN code dispatch for door opening.
“Our goal is to provide our guests with a digital companion that can be used to provide all the information and services they require for the entire guest journey (before, during and after their stay). This includes the possibility of mobile door opening, as well as a mobile check-in. In addition, we have reduced our staffing at the front desk to a minimum, this is so only possible with the help of digital solutions that are well coordinated. At Zählwerk Apartments, every guest can check in on their smartphone, receive a PIN code for their apartment, and can easily check themselves out on the day of departure.
