Hotel of the month: City Aparthotel Munich

Our hotel of the month in August, the City Aparthotel in Munich, is located in the center of Munich and is managed by the Reich family. For many years, the family-run apartment hotel has been constantly evolving and adapting to the ever-changing needs of international guests.

For the past two years, the hotel has been using straiv by CODE2ORDER’s digital solutions for hotel guests. Among other things, the registration form is now processed completely digitally and contactless, which brings an enormous relief in the front office. In addition, the hotel plans to make the interface between straiv by CODE2ORDER and the property management system protel live in the future. This will further automate internal processes and save time and money, as the manual entry of any guest data by the front office will be completely eliminated, leaving more time for personal service.

Guests will receive the link to the Digital Registration Form in the Pre-Stay Mail and fill out all data in advance via straiv by CODE2ORDER.

Feedback Request

Guests will receive an email with a link to a feedback form via straiv by CODE2ORDER.

Guests A-Z

All important information for the stay is maintained via straiv by CODE2ORDER in the guest A-Z and hotel guests can easily access it via their own smartphone. In addition, the information is displayed on the TVs.

Sights

All information and sights about Munich are displayed compactly via straiv by CODE2ORDER solution. Here guests have everything at a glance and can inform themselves about all possible activities. The City Aparthotel uses the third-party provider MPM Selectix for this, which is linked in straiv by CODE2ORDER.

Tickets

Tickets to places of interest or MVV tickets can be purchased by guests directly via straiv by CODE2ORDER.

Insider tips

The item insider tips is clicked most often by the guests. The info is constantly expanded by the hotel staff to offer personalized info to the guests.

News

The “News” function keeps guests up to date on hygiene rules, opening hours and room cleaning.

During the current challenges of the Corona pandemic, the digital solutions provide additional support to the hotel. The digital registration form reduces the number of people at the reception, contacts are reduced to a minimum and employees* and guests are protected. Guests have all hotel information digitally on their own smartphone via the Digital Guest Directory- printed guest folders do not have to be constantly changed and cleaned – but are now completely eliminated.
